COO and Founder

Joe began his career in IT in 1996, and has guided his MSP through various mergers, divestments, and acquisitions over the years. Having started as a single practitioner and growing to manage up to 30 employees and a multi-million dollar technology enterprise, Mr. Steen is intimately familiar with many of the obstacles and pitfalls that come with running an MSP.

Over the years his professional experience and background have led to finding solutions for clients that don’t always fit “inside the box” of technology. Powersurge Consulting is a team built to help bring businesses to the next level by being hyper focused on remediating pain points and overcoming specific obstacles found in growing or managing your business.

Aviv Asoulin

Aviv is a Partner and Manager of the Corporate Department at EPGD Business Law, a full-service business law firm. Aviv advises businesses from startups to enterprises on corporate structuring and reorganization, contract drafting and negotiations, exit planning, and capital raises. Aviv has served as general counsel to business in a wide range of industries and helped businesses raise millions of dollars in capital as well achieve their dream of selling their businesses. Aviv is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and with a team of 30 lawyers at EPGD Business Law he can provide holistic solutions to legal issues.

Mr. Wongvalle is a bilingual marketing professional (English and Spanish) with over a decade of experience leading digital marketing and brand strategy initiatives across global markets. Holding a Master’s in Marketing specializing in Advanced Market Analytics, Vincent combines quantitative and qualitative approaches to unlock market insights. Having been raised internationally, Vincent has a broad perspective, allowing him to bring diverse, innovative solutions to complex challenges. As a member of the Powersurge team, he is passionate about helping businesses of all sizes grow their brand presence.

David Belnap

CFO

With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and an emphasis in Operational Management from Idaho State University (2008), David has built an impressive career blending traditional accounting principles with cutting-edge technology.
David holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Management Accountant (2012), Certified Public Accountant (Florida, 2021), and Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (2023). Additionally, he earned one of the first Accounting Analytics Certificates from Nova Southeastern University in 2022, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in financial analytics.
Beyond his professional endeavors, David is passionate about bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry applications. He actively volunteers as a guest lecturer and panelist at universities and colleges in South Florida, contributing to the development of the next generation of accounting professionals.
